“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (ESV)
We have arrived.
Forty days of consecration, sacrifice, intercession, fasting, and seeking God. Forty days of pressing in, praying through, and choosing God over comfort.
Today is not merely an ending—it is a beginning.
What God has deposited in you throughout this season will continue to bear fruit in the weeks, months, and years ahead. Every prayer, every sacrifice, every moment of surrender, and every act of obedience has significance before God.
You have sown in tears; you will reap in joy.
This season may be complete, but the work God has begun in us continues. The altar must remain burning. The hunger for God must remain alive. The discipline of prayer must become a lifestyle.
1. Give Thanks for the Grace to Complete the 40 Days
Stand before the Lord and offer Him a sacrifice of thanksgiving for the grace to complete this 40-day season.
Acknowledge that it was His strength, mercy, and sustaining grace—not human ability—that carried you through. Give Him all the glory for bringing you to this moment.
Scripture: “What shall I return to the LORD for all his goodness to me? I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD.” — Psalm 116:12–13
2. Give Thanks for Every Breakthrough and Revelation
Thank God for every breakthrough, every revelation, every answered prayer, every moment of His presence, and every spiritual shift that took place throughout these 40 days.
Some answers may already be visible; others may still be unfolding. Receive God's faithfulness with thanksgiving and continue to trust Him.
Scripture: “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” — Mark 11:24
3. Pray for the Things Spoken in Prayer to Be Established
Ask God to establish every word, prayer, and petition that has been lifted before Him throughout this season.
Pray for perseverance and faith concerning answers that have not yet become visible. Trust that God is working according to His wisdom and timing.
Scripture: “Your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.” — Daniel 10:12
4. Pray for the Fire of Consecration to Continue
Ask the Lord to keep the fire of consecration and prayer burning beyond these 40 days.
Pray that this season will not become a temporary spiritual exercise but the beginning of a deeper lifestyle of prayer, fasting, obedience, worship, and intimacy with God.
Scripture: “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.” — Luke 18:1
5. Dedicate the Fruit of This Season to the Kingdom
Dedicate everything God has done in and through you during these 40 days to the advancement of His Kingdom.
Pray for wisdom to steward every opportunity, revelation, relationship, resource, and open door for God's glory and the salvation and transformation of lives.
Scripture: “Not to us, LORD, not to us, but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.” — Psalm 115:1
As we step out of these 40 days of consecration, we carry something we did not have when we entered.
There has been a deposit, an impartation, and a Kingdom transaction that has taken place in the unseen realm. God has used this season to deepen our hunger, strengthen our faith, refine our hearts, and draw us closer to Himself.
Scripture: “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” — Hebrews 10:36
The answers may not all be visible yet, but we can continue to trust God with what we cannot see. Prayer is never wasted. Fasting is never in vain. Seeking the face of God is never fruitless.
We have sought His face in this season. Now, we trust Him with the timing of His hand.
As we move forward, let this remain in our hearts:
God heard.
God is faithful.
God is working.
God is moving.
The 40 days may be complete, but the journey continues.
May the fire remain burning. May the Word remain alive. May prayer remain our lifestyle. May the fruit of this season continue to manifest in our lives, families, ministry, communities, and nations.
The season has ended, but the assignment continues.
And by God's grace, the best is yet to come.
